Bonzer Russ Short And Lix.

Had a spell of really small swell, there is light at the end of the tunnel though, There’s a long period west swell coming in on Saturday, it will stick around for a couple of days then a really nice looking north west swell arrives and seems to be getting bigger and bigger throughout the week. Can’t wait to see the points firing again, it seems like so long. Hopefully be worth dusting off Mr Russ Short.

Josh Cleaver, Anchor Point January Swell

Josh Cleaver came and stayed along with the Plymouth University Crew and scored a week of sick swell.
Ben managed to grab a few shots on a hazy Anchors day.

The Agadir Souk

Agadir’s Souk El Had is a shopping wonderland with everything from Traditional Moroccan Artefacts to fake
Rolex’s.

Its not as pretty as the beautiful souk’s in Marrakech but you won’t be hassled nearly as much and the price’s are much lower.

My favourite is the second hand cloths stalls, piles of knitwear, denim, leather for as little as 20 dhm an item. Better than any overpriced hipster market in London!

There’s also a food section where traditional Moroccan cuisine is a cheap as you will find.

Ben shot these pics when we took some of the Plymouth Uni crew there on a day trip.

Loggin Panoramas

Panoramas has an awesome wedge at high tide that is perfect for logging when its small.
Our New resident logger, Keith, is from Noosa Australia (the centre of the logging world!) his arrival coincided well with the purchase of our new 9’6 Bing lightweight.
Its been a steep learning curve but we’re all loving trying to get our toes over.

Bonzer Sesh with Gary Landes and Brody Tough

Nice little afternoon session at Anchor Point with Gary Landes and Brody Tough, they seem to love the boards, Gary’s on a 5’6 Bumblebee and Brody is on the 6’0 Mini Merk. stoked to watch someone ripping Anchor Point on boards that suit the wave so well.

Christmas Eve Shindig

Party Season has been fun this year with a good crew, highlight for me personally was smashing Wookie at ping pong, his forfeit was to snort the ash of a whole smoked cigerette, which he bravely completed.
New Years we upped the anti, i’m still gathering information on the nights events, and will update you when i have all the facts.

Public Nudity

Great way to spend the day, if its flat, rent a moped and take a trip up the mountain behind Taghazout, amazing views, peace and quiet, and an opportunity to get all naked with no one looking.

Devils Rock Surf Competition

Fun competition went down at devils rock on Saturday, there were bodyboard longboard and shortboard divisions.

The waves were perfect, and the longboarders were the best to watch, with a few locals getting their toes over.
Its getting pretty small for the next few days, so we’re all getting the longboards out for panormas wedge. I find if the swell is small, or if you’re a little burnt out on your surfing, get on a longboard, it is so much fun to learn to nose ride, and you can surf literally anything.

Jeremy Flores, Ramzi Boukhiam And Crew Rip La Source

Swell dropped briefly yesterday and on the afternoon high tide La source was perfect size, and A framing.

Its Rare to get a left in Morocco but when la Source is good its really good.

Jeremy Flores is still nursing an Injured ankle after a close out barrel in France during the Quik pro, he still had it strapped up, but ripped harder than everyone else anyway.

swell today was pumping again, the period dropped a bit, and Anchor Point was a bit more manageable.
Their were loads of good waves coming though which helped spread the crowd.

Tomorrow’s forecast is looking much like today with solid swell and no wind atall again! we are being treated.
