First Week Of The Season.
The season has kicked off well, with perfect weather and swell all week.
Got a good crew of around 17, had some epic feeds, with Lenor and Petes bbq being the highlight.
Had some fun waves at panoramas this morning on the high tide, perfect wedges off the rock, and anchor point this afternoon.
Joe and I Had an interesting session at anchors yesterday, decided to take out the Bonzer ‘Russ Short’ model, only got two waves but the board felt incredible, so smooth through turns, really good board for the point. Joe took the 5’4 empire lumus, bad decision as the waves were overhead, he still managed to get a cuple of solid ones, looking forward to seeing how it goes when its smaller.
swell is dropping over the next few days, which means killers will be the spot! can’t wait.

New Malcolm Cambell Bonzer ‘Russ Short Model’ ready to go!
6’2 Russ short model Bonzer 3 fin, Joe asked for this board to be an exact replica of what Malcolm would have shaped him 30 years ago. It is beautiful.
If you wanna cruise and carve smooth lines down a long point break this is the board, you ain’t gonna be getting fins free, but you will feel like you are in ‘morning of the earth’
I don’t know why but recently i’ve been growing more interested in longer length boards, i don’t throw tail, or do air reverse’s (by choice rather than lack of skill of coarse) and this ones begging for clean lines and the odd cheater five, the simple pleasures.

Tyler Warren Bonzer Bumblebee Morocco
Tyler Warren, connoisseur of all alternative boards, proving that the little Bumblebees can handle some pretty solid waves.
He’ riding a 5″4 here.
Check out the Bumblebee on our board’s page to see our 5″6 version.
When talking to Malcolm about shaping us this board I used Tyler’s 5″4 as a reference point.
Good to see it living up to its full potential in Moroccan waters.
check out the latest issue of Surfer Mag for more Tyler and Morocco.
