The Surf Hostel
Our accommodation is right in the heart of Taghazout. We have a large building consisting of communal lounge areas, kitchen, 3 shower rooms, 2 terraces and 6 bedrooms. Our private terrace is the perfect spot to lounge around, fix your boards, dry your wetsuits and admire the sea views until you fancy getting wet.
We have a comfortable, communal lounge area equipped with T.V/dvd player and loads of movies.
Guests stay in a large dorm style bedroom on bunks or single beds, each with fresh sheets after every stay with a maximum of 6 people per room.
Within a couple of hundred yards we have all the amenities you might need, surf shops who will repair boards cheaply and to a very high standard, a couple of local shops supplying incredible fresh fruit and veg and any other essentials, and top quality local restaurants provide food to suit any taste’s from pizza to freshly caught local seafood.
Every morning we eat breakfast on our large sun terrace which provides the perfect environment for a stretch or yoga session before getting in the water and a quick surf check.

local chefs visit the hostel each day to offer a traditional Moroccan menu.
Most mornings the evening meal is written on a chalk board along with a price (usually around £5) guests then can sign up for the meal each day, then the ingredients are bought fresh and prepared in time for an evening meal.
We have an eclectic selection of surfboards available for hire, including Campbell Brother Bonzer’s, fish’s, quads, single fins, handplanes and other rare and vintage equipment. And of course we also have plenty of beginner boards, bodyboards, wetsuits and standard shortboards. As little as £5/€6 per day.
Surf lessons and guiding can be booked in the Surf Hostel, we have a number of international and local surf instructors, top of the range equipment and a number of local surf guides and instructors.
Prices vary from £25 per lesson or for a days surf guiding.
